Rockin' At The Sock Hop

Frank Antonucci

Hi, my name is Frank Antonucci, aka Mr. 50’s.  Thank you for your interest and accessing my Blog page for my show “Rockin At The Sockhop”, which airs every Friday from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
When listening to my show each week, I’ll be providing…
. Great music selections from the 50’s era to the present, incorporating today’s acapella and remakes in what I call bridging the gap;
. Interviews with original artists;
. Information on the artists, songs, and concert happenings.

I’m a WBMB Alumni (81-83′), returning once again as a Radio Disc Jockey! My passion for Rock & Roll music of the 1950’s era began when I first saw the nostalgic singing group Sha-Na-Na perform on television back in 77′.  My other early influences were Don K. Reed/WCBS-FM, Casey Kasem/American Top 40 and Ronnie I/United in Group Harmony Association.
